Tom Wilson
Tom Wilson is an NYC area based artist, living in Jersey City. His work often treads the ground between surrealism and abstraction. Multi-layered washes of shape and color surround hard edged renditions of electronic machinery and wordless graffiti shapes.
"I have never given much thought to the idea of narrowing my focus to achieve a signature style. Every day I find more elements that can widen the scope of what occurs in my work."
Recent collaborations with artists James Banta and Rene Mayorga have appeared at the New York India Pop Festival in Manhattan and The Shore Institute in New Jersey. Tom studied at The Art Institute and Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
